Mission pix

Mission Life

I can't remember how I posted pictures when we opened a Blog, but I am going to try it now, since we finally got an adapter to hook up our camera so we could download them. The couple with us by the map, pointing to Toronto at the MTC, is the Barnes. They're our buddies and we get together occasionally. They really are sweet, fun people.

Some pictures of our apartment are the back door taken from our bedroom, with bathroom and stairway on the right. Next is stairway to living room and kitchen. Door on left is laundry, and door on right is furnace. There is an opening in the wall past the furnace room to living room. Next pictures are living room and kitchen. Our favorite pictures are Ina Powell, whom we have been helping teach, and her baptism. She is a jewel, and now the elders are teaching her grandson, Philip. Last picture are our dear elders with us. They are spiritual giants. We love them. They are planning on a white Christmas...white in baptism clothes, that is. We think a man named Chris will be baptized Dec. 28. I plan on being able to post his baptism picture next month.

Our first blog - woo-hoo!

Grandma and Grandpa had a day at the end of summer with the boys. We took them fishing up in the Uintahs at Trial Lake, Mirror Lake and Pass Lake, as well as Provo River Falls. So last week we decided to have a day with the girls (+ Josh). We took them to Cherry Hill miniature golfing, Nichols Park and to Wendy's for lunch. It was such a fun day. Here are a few pix of the day.

Hi Fam - We don't know what we are doing, but hopefully we will get this set up so we can post pictures while on our mission. We leave in one week. We are excited. Next week is General Conference and that Sunday afternoon we will be set apart. Toronto East, here we come! Well, Dad reminded me it is "MTC, here we come" first, then Toronto.

Last week Grant and Maridean took us to Moab to ride the rock trails on top of the world in his Polaris Ranger. I guess that was our last fling before we get serious about being missionaries. I will try to post a couple of the videos from the trip. Yikes, it was scary.
